Land Registry Strikes

Members of the Public and Commercial Services (PCS) union working for HM Land Registry (HMLR) will take part in five days of strike action from February 27th to March 3rd.

More than 350 workers based in 14 locations around the UK will participate, however core services are expected to continue as normal.

Customers may experience longer call waiting times than usual and possibly reduced call hours.

The strikes are part of a national strike over pay, pensions, redundancy terms and job security.

PCS general secretary Mark Serwotka commented that “Ministers seem able to find money for just about everything other than giving their own employees a decent pay rise”.
